Regardless if you are traveling with a large motor home or a small tent for two people, we'll find a great pitch for you and your family for your holiday in Skive, Denmark - by the Limfjord. Skive Fjord Camping is one of the only campsites in Denmark that is completely laid out in terraces. This means, that all of our pitches are a great pitches - almost all of them come with a view; of the water, the rolling hills, the forrest, or the campsite, and those that doesn't are situated privately, sheltered from the wind, and almost in their own "micro climate" where it's warmer than the rest of the area. Included in the price and free of charge is WIFI/internet for the whole family, hot showers, access to the solar panel-heated swimming pool, usage of kitchens etc. 

A campsite in the middle of nature - and close to the city
Despite being situated in the middle of nature with lots of peace and quiet, directly by the clear waters of the Limfjord, there's just four kilometers to the middle of the City Center of Skive with shopping, restaurants, cafés, bowling ally, indoor water park, cinema, etc. 
You'll find plenty of walking- and bike paths from the campsite - for example, there's a wonderfull path along the water from the campsite to Skive Marina (3 km), where you'll also find two restaurants, and Krabbesholm Forrest.

Skive Fjord Camping is a one of a kind-campsite in Denmark
The campsite is, as the only campsite in Denmark, completely laid out in terraces on a south-facing slope (which means you'll get plenty of sun from morning to evening), directly by the Limfjord. This means, that you'll get an amazing view from almost everywhere on the campsite (as opposed to regular "flat" campsites, where typically, only the first row of caravans get a view). You also get a lot of extra light, air, space, and privacy around you because of the terraced layout, as you maximally have a neighbor to the right and left, and no-one in the front or back. It's amazing! The terraces also shelters from a lot of noise, so even when the campsite is full of happy holiday guests of all ages, it is quiet and peaceful to be in. Perfect for enjoying a nice book in the sun! 

If is possibly one of the most unique, beautiful campsites in Denmark - if we should say so outselves. Personally, we moved from the other end of Denmark, simply because Skive Fjord Camping is such an amazing campsite, and we haven't regretted it one second.
