Caravan: Enjoy camping holidays in Jutland with water views

Are you looking for a great place to spend your days off, holidays, bank holidays, and weekends? Then a camping holiday in your caravan at Skive Fjord Camping is just the thing for you! You'll be right by the water with a beach and jetty in the middle of nature, with forest and fields, and close to town.

You're close to town (4 km to the centre with pedestrian street, shopping, cafés, restaurants, shops, etc.), close to shopping (2.2 km to supermarket) and close to the marina with two restaurants and an ice cream shop (3 km via paved cycle/footpath at the waterfront).

It should be easy! With us, you don't need to remember your bathing card, keys, coins, or wristband to take a shower. You can bathe here—completely free of charge—when you stay overnight at the campsite.

You can swim, splash, slide, and swim all you want when you stay at the campsite! Of course, you have free access to the solar-heated swimming pool.

Camping holidays with a view

The campsite is wholly terraced on a south-facing slope down to the Limfjord
Here you'll find one of Denmark's only campsites, which is entirely terraced. The site is incredibly beautiful and an experience - the landscape architects who designed it have gone to great lengths to ensure that most people have a view from their pitch. In addition to the magical panoramic view of the Limfjord, you can also find pitches overlooking the rolling Limfjord hills in the landscape around the campsite, overlooking the forest, or the campsite itself. From almost all pitches, it is possible to see water as a fjord view or a real panoramic view.

Lots to do nearby on holiday

Plenty of experiences, places to eat, and sights close by await you
Lots of exciting places await you on your doorstep when you're on holiday at Skive Fjord Camping. The surrounding nature is, of course, packed with hiking and cycling routes. At the campsite's beach, you'll find one of the only places in Europe with tours in fully transparent canoe/kayak hybrids, GLASKAJAK®. From the campsite, it's only 3 km to Skive Marina and only 4 km to the centre of Skive with its pedestrian street filled with delicious specialty shops and cosy eateries.
Within a 25-minute drive, you can find everything from medieval castles to Europe's largest limestone mine and other great nature experiences—for example, on the island of Fur. Major attractions such as Legoland®, Tivoli Friheden, Nordsøakvariet, Ree Park Zoo, Djurs Sommerland, Kattegatcenteret, Fårup Sommerland, etc., can all be reached within a couple of hours' drive. In just 2 h 15 min, you can be on Grenen at Skagen!

The North Sea is only 60 minutes away, and is an obvious destination for a day trip. Then you can drive out to get blown away by the harsh nature of the North Sea and come home to enjoy the evening in the warmer Central Jutland with the peaceful Limfjord without scary undercurrents, waves, etc.
There's plenty to experience for young and old, whether active, edible, or cultural.

Dogs are welcome

Dogs are very welcome at the campsite, and plenty of great walking opportunities are nearby. The beach next to the campsite is also dog-friendly, so Fido can swim with the rest of the family all summer. You'll also find several dog forests close to the campsite. CLOSE TO EVERYTHING

Skive Fjord Camping is located in the middle of nature, directly down to the Limfjord with beautiful water views. Yet it's only 4 km from the campsite to the centre of Skive town, with a pedestrian street, shopping, restaurants, and more. It's 2.2 km to the nearest supermarket and 3 km on a cycle path along the water to Skive Marina, which has two restaurants.
