Børnevenlige oplevelser: Indoor water park, GLASS KAYAK®, medieval castles, and more.
The area around Skive Fjord Camping is full of child-friendly experiences!
Within a 5-25 minute drive, you'll find:
You can explore under the surface of the Limfjord with VisionKayak in transparent canoe/kayak hybrids from the beach at the campsite. Take a trip to KCS Badeland, which is only 12 minutes from the campsite and has a water slide, wave pool, and more. Why not play knights at Denmark's best-preserved medieval castle, Spøttrup Borg, or explore the world's largest limestone mine, Mønsted Kalkgruber - only 20 minutes from the campsite.
You can also go fossil hunting on the islands of Fur or Mors, where you may be lucky enough to find 100,000-year-old animals and plants in the mud with a hammer and chisel. It's cool!
How about a trip back in time at the open-air museum Hjerl Hede? Here, you can experience Denmark as it was in the past.
Jesperhus Blomsterpark is only a 25-minute drive from the campsite, so it's also ideal to take a day trip to Mors to experience Hugo the Jungle Animal, Rita the Fox, and all her friends!
Skive By has a waterpark, shopping, theater, etc. Skive City also has a bowling centre, cinema, playland, water playground, go-kart centre and more - so the sky's the limit for what fun you can have on your holiday!
And then for the big ones: within a maximum 1.5-hour drive, you can reach places like LEGOLAND®, Vesterhavet with aquariums, bunker museum, seal safari, etc., Tivoli Friheden and Den Gamle By in Aarhus, animal parks and zoos such as Randers Rain Forest, AQUA in Silkeborg, Jyllands Park Zoo, and Givskud Zoo Zootopia.
