Camping holiday with pool: Free access to our solar-heated swimming pool

Remember to pack your swimsuits when you go camping. There's free access to the lovely solar-heated pool on site. Do you have a water dog or three in the family? We LOVE the pool, and your kids probably will, too. There's a shallow, safe children's pool for the little ones, a small water slide, and two depths in the large pool.

While the kids splash around in the pool, there are, of course, plenty of sun loungers (over 50!) and parasols for mum and dad all around the pool. The pool is centrally located on the campsite, and there's plenty of sun all day long - and with the fence around it and a rampart to the west, there's usually shelter too so you can enjoy the sun in your swimwear.

The swimming pool is heated by solar panels, which means it heats up quickly when the weather is nice. The pool typically opens around Whitsun and closes again at the end of August - both depending on the weather.

Of course, access to the pool is free when you stay at the campsite! So here the water dogs can run free and the rubber ducks get plenty of water under their wings.

The swimming pool has a safe, small children's pool with shallow water for the little ones. From here, a small waterfall runs down to the rest of the pool, which is long enough for you to swim a little lap—or play, splash, and jump in. There's also a small water slide.

Ah, is there anything better than relaxing by the pool with a good book, playing games with the kids under the shade of the parasols, soaking up the sun, and the crystal clear turquoise water? 

As the icing on the cake, our swimming pool is heated by solar panels on the roof of the service building, so even though the temperature can creep up to 30° during periods of sunshine and summer weather, you can keep your green, clean conscience: it's completely sustainable heating when it's done with solar panels.
