Here you will find useful information as well as the terms and conditions regarding bookings and reservations at Skive Fjord Camping. The terms and conditions applies to all types of bookings and reservations (via e-mail, walk-in, chat, phone, online booking etc.). The moment you make an reservation or booking at Skive Fjord Camping, you accept this, as well as the terms and conditions.
You can also read about how we treat your personal information when using online booking, how you will recieve a receipt for your purchase and much more. We use SKIVE as a synonym for Skive Fjord Camping.
Payment
All prices in online booking are written in danish kroner with sales tax included unless stated otherwise.
Payment is made by using one of the approved credit cards in online booking, including Dankort, Visa and Mastercard/Eurocard among others.
There are no extra charges included when using online booking.
Shipping and delivery
When you book a cabin, luxury cabin, luxury tent or a unit for a camper or tent you will see a contract with the billing information and purchase information on the screen at the end of the booking process. This contract can be printed out from the homepage. If you supply a valid e-mail address you will also receive an e-mail with this information.
Delivery of the product which you have booked online happens when you arrive in SKIVE on the day of arrival (and ends on the departure date). Both of these dates are written in the contact mentioned above.
Cancellation and refund
RIGHT OF REFUSAL AND REFUND
Please note that your booking is not subject to the Consumer Agreement Act's rules on cancellation rights. The sale of accommodation (cabins, cottages, camping, etc.) is subject to a special exemption provision in Paragraph 18 (2) of the Consumer Agreement Act. 12. The booking made is thus not covered by a 14 day cancellation right. The reason for this lies in the fact that re-rental of a reserved cabin / apartment / space, which is canceled a few days before/upon arrival or during the stay, will often not be possible.
We recommend that you take out a cancellation protection. It costs DKK 295,00.
Otherwhise the following apply.
When signing a cancellation protection (which we recommend) applies the following and without signing there is no refund possible. Cancellation protection must be simultaneously to booking or paying for your stay in our online booking system.
Cancelation up to 60 days before arrival will result in an refund of the whole amount but minus an administration fee of DKK 500,00
Cancelation between 59 – 30 days before arrival will result in an refund of 50% of the amount.
Cancelation later then 29 days before arrival will result in no refund.
The cancelation protection does cover cancelation up to one day (before 12.00 oclock) before the arraval day, and the whole amount is refunded.
The refund will be payed within 14 weekdays from the date that we recieve your medical certificate as proof.
Privacy and handling of personal information
SKIVE register your name, address, e-mail address and other information given when booking online. This information is kept in our customer database. The information is not given to a third party but the registration is kept within SKIVE for 5 years.
SKIVE uses server side cookies and a secure connection to secure the information you give when using online booking.
Payment with a creditcard happens on a secure server where the information i encrypted before being sent over the internet.
Contact information
If you for some reason do not receive your contract which confirms your purchase, and do not get any errors from the online booking system then please contact us using the information below.
Complaint concerning the booking process or the received product must happen within a reasonable time after you have seen the mistake or should have seen the mistake by looking through your contract. You can complain either by e-mail or by phone. Your right to complain expire after 1 year from the date receiving your product in accordance to Købelovens §83, stk. 1.
When SKIVE receives a complaint about a product the complaint will be dealt with as soon as posible, and SKIVE will evaluate if your complaint is justified.
